Jeremy’s IT Lab is a verified, high-quality YouTube channel offering 100% free Cisco training. This course will let you complete all the necessary education at home for free!
Packet Tracer is Cisco’s free network simulation tool, which will allow you to practice getting hands on 24/7 from anywhere. Requires signing up for a free account with an email address. Tip: Start with small labs and gradually work up to more complex network setups.

Cisco Networking Academy offers free courses that cover networking fundamentals, cybersecurity, and more. By completing courses and assessments, you can earn digital badges that are recognized by employers. You can add these badges directly to your LinkedIn profile to showcase your skills.
Even if you’re not pursuing the CCNA exam immediately, completing these courses and earning badges
On the next page, select the text that says SIGN UP.
On the next page, fill in the information on the bottom of the page, and select CONTINUE.
(If you have a Google account, you can select the GOOGLE button to automatically create an account. If you do, skip to Step Two.)
A page will appear called the LEARNING CATALOG: here you will find all of the courses available to you, including how long the course takes, and whether it is free or not. Select one that speaks to you the most. If you aren't sure, we recommend beginning with USING COMPUTER AND MOBILE DEVICES.
The catalog will also let you filter courses based on language, skill set, and more!
The page that opens up will describe the course to you in more detail: to start learning, select the green button labeled GET STARTED WITH SELF-PACED.
Some courses require you to attend a class led by an instructor; these courses usually charge a fee to enter, and cannot be completed at your own pace. Therefore, we recommend that you select courses with a Self-Paced option, at least for your first few!
The course will open up to the first page, which will instruct you how to continue. Follow the instructions to complete each module of the course.
Once completed, you will receive a digital badge to display on your resume!
